Department of Mathematics has organized The International Conference on Applied and Engineering Mathematics (ICAEM) under the umbrella of IEEE. More than 500 participants attended this conference. The peer-reviewed conference received more than 200 papers form more than 7 countries including Turkey, China, KSA and Russia. After the peer-review 44 papers were accepted for a possible publication in IEEE Xplore which is an internationally reputed research data base.

3 Minutes Thesis (3MT) competition was also a part of the conference where PhD candidates will present there PhD research topic to the audience in just three minutes with the help of a single PowerPoint slide. The winner of the competition will be awarded with a cash reward of ten thousand

The idea behind the event was to brings together experts, researchers, and scholars from around the globe to explore cutting-edge developments in the field of engineering mathematics. This interdisciplinary conference served as a platform for exchanging ideas, presenting research findings, and fostering collaborations in various areas such as applied mathematics, computational methods, mathematical modeling, and optimization techniques. Attendees, expert keynote speeches, paper presentations, workshops, and networking opportunities, all aimed at advancing knowledge and innovation in engineering mathematics. With a focus on addressing real-world challenges and pushing the boundaries of mathematical theory and application.
