Lab Project Presentation of Physiology I and Human Anatomy by 2nd Semester BME

We are pleased to highlight the recent lab exam and project exhibition by our Biomedical Engineering second-semester students, focusing on Physiology I and Human Anatomy. Following the directives of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), which emphasizes problem-based learning (PBL), our students have undertaken projects that demonstrate a profound understanding of normal human physiological systems, deviations from normal functioning, disease diagnosis, and innovative engineering applications in medical research.

Dr. Nizam Uddin, Head of the Department, conducted a comprehensive survey of the projects, providing students with profound insights and advanced knowledge. The innovative and diligent efforts of our students are highly commendable. We are proud to showcase their exemplary work. Below are some highlights of projects
Working Model of Heart (Explaining Action Potential)
Working Model of the Cardiac System (Including Lungs and Exchange of Oxygenated and Deoxygenated Blood)
Working Model of Lungs and Breathing (Explaining the Effect of Smoking on Lungs)
Working Model of the Urinary System (Role of Kidneys and Nephrons)
Electric Ear Model (Explaining the Function and Working Principle of the Ear)
Model of Neurons and Nervous System (Explaining the Path and Significance in Normal Body Functioning)
Dr. Nizam Uddin's engagement and feedback have further empowered the students with advanced knowledge and insights. We are proud of their achievements and look forward to more such innovative projects in the future. Here are some highlights from the event.
