Chairperson's Message
I am Dr. Raza Ali Shah, Associate Professor (Ph.D.) and the Chairman of the Computer Engineering Department at HITEC University. I extend my warmest welcome to you all.
Our department is deeply committed to training and educating the next generation of computer engineers. We believe in a comprehensive pedagogy that combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills, preparing our students for the challenges of the 21st century. Computing has revolutionized our world in the past two decades and will continue to serve as the core of all technologies in the future. We are proud to be at the forefront of this revolution.
We offer a unique blend of theoretical and practical learning, facilitated by our highly qualified faculty comprising of international and national PhD degree holders. Our competitive teaching methodology prepares students for engineering solutions of real-time systems.
We prioritize hands-on learning, with our curriculum spanning over nine different state-of-the-art laboratories. These include the Embedded Systems Laboratory, Digital Signal Processing Laboratory, Artificial Intelligence (AI) Laboratory, Digital Systems Design Laboratory, Internet of Things Laboratory, Computing Laboratory, Data Communications & Networks Laboratory, and much more.
Our students can work on industrial projects with Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT), providing them with invaluable real-world experience.
Furthermore, our Computer Engineering Program is a Washington Accord Accredited Program, and we have valid Pakistan Engineering Council Level II Accreditation, ensuring that our students receive a globally recognized education.
