The Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC) fosters a culture of research excellence at HITEC University. We support faculty and students in securing research grants, facilitate industry partnerships, promote innovation and entrepreneurship, and assist in commercializing research outcomes. ORIC also organizes research conferences and workshops.

Welcome to the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at HITEC University!
The department of ORIC is dedicated to foster a dynamic research environment that focuses mainly on empowerment of faculty, students, and industry partners to provide innovative and impactful research solutions. The main mission is to link academia and industry by facilitating cutting-edge research, nurturing entrepreneurship, and ensuring the commercialization of intellectual property developed within the university. ORIC provide a range of services to support research excellence, including funding opportunities, collaborations, and patent drafting guidance and business development through incubation startups. The aim is growth of knowledge, technology, and society at large.
I encourage all faculty members, researchers, and students to explore the resources and programs available through ORIC in order to take HITEC University research initiatives to new heights with a meaningful impact on the world.
