HITEC University offers Postgraduate degree in the following Programs:
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering is a two year, 30 credit hours programme divided over four semesters. Students are required to complete eight courses, equivalent of 24 credit hours from their chosen area of specialization. They are also required to conduct research and submit their findings in terms of a thesis which is equivalent of 6 credit hours.
The Department of Electrical Engineering offers the Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with specializations in Communication Engineering and Control Engineering.

The curriculum of MS (Mechanical Engineering) has been developed keeping in view the guideline issued by HEC and the requirement of prospective employers. The course is of 2 Years duration in which minimum eight subjects of 3 credit hours will be offered to the students. The students must also conduct a 6 credit hours of research to qualify for the degree. A wide variety of subjects will be available to students to select subject of their choice.
Back to topThe MBA programme is meant for students or professionals who are contemplating a career in Business Administration. The programme is designed to bring the students up-to-date with the latest trends and research in the field of Management Sciences. Master of Business Administration is a 2 -3 years programme depending upon the educational background of the students.
The emphasis in the MBA programme is on the core business courses with specializations in Finance, Marketing and Human Resource Management.
PhD Programs are also fully commensurate with the guidelines of HEC. The minimum course work comprises 18 credit hours (i.e. 6 courses of 3 credit hours each), having already done 30 credit hours at the Master level. The research phase commences after completing the course work. The minimum duration is four years. A salient feature of our doctoral program is that research topic will be specific to the requirement of parent organization of student.
