SPEEDSTER TAKE IT ALL
HITEC University – ASME Chapter took part in 1st International Mechanical Engineering Convention held at GIKI from 20-22nd April.
HITEC Universityclinched two positions in Human Powered Vehicle Contest Category in the first ever International event held In Pakistan;sixcountries participated including the host Pakistan. The participatingcountries were Turkey,Bangladesh, Sri Lanka,India and Iran. The teams from abroad faced tough competition from talented youth of Pakistan, especially from HITEC University. There werebasically two categories in HPVC (Human Powered Vehicle Contest), best design and fastest vehicle.
In the fastest design category, HITEC team Speedster got 1st Position with their unique design and the furious speed. Winning team members were:-

In best design category, Hitonians(named as “pacers”) achieved 2ndPosition, with ingenuity reflected from their deisgn.
