BS Mechanical Engineering
The scheme of studies for BS degree is in line with the criteria laid down by the Higher Education Commission and Pakistan Engineering Council. It is a broad-based program which includes Engineering Drawing, Engineering Mechanics, Mechanics of Material, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat & Mass Transfer, Theory of Machine and Vibrations. Beside this core, a number of elective courses are also offered from Design, Materials and Thermal specialties. The entire curriculum is supported by six courses in Mathematics and five courses in Electronics and Electrical Engineering. All engineering subjects are fully complemented by requisite experiments which are conducted in eleven spacious, fully air conditioned and very well equipped laboratories. The program spans over four years (eight semesters).
